Faith Forge Labs / Game development
Gameplay systems with behavior you can agree and test.
An inventory, puzzle, movement rule, or save system becomes easier to build when its ordinary behavior and awkward cases are clear. We turn the feature request into a bounded implementation.
Inspect the project first
For existing games, we review the source, engine version, dependencies, assets, and rights available. A playable build and reproducible examples help identify the current behavior. We do not promise a takeover or repair before understanding the project.
Write the system in player terms
We define what starts the action, what the player can choose, what changes, and what feedback appears. Failure, interruption, invalid input, and recovery are considered where relevant. The acceptance tasks should be observable in a build.
Integrate with the surrounding game
Systems can affect menus, animation, audio, saving, progression, and content. We identify those dependencies and test nearby behavior after changes. Multiplayer and external services need additional assessment rather than being assumed as small extensions.
Leave a usable handover
The result includes the agreed source, build, test notes, and maintenance information. Known limits and deferred ideas remain explicit. A completed feature is tied to the accepted tasks, not an open-ended promise to implement every later variation.
Describe the player's action and the result you expect. If something is broken, include steps and the affected build or device.
