Faith Forge Labs / Game development

2D games with a coherent playable experience.

A 2D game can be simple to understand and still require careful work across rules, input, feedback, art, sound, and interface. We plan those parts around the intended player.

Define a complete piece

We agree the genre, audience, platform, session, core loop, and the milestone to finish. One complete level or encounter can be more useful than several unfinished systems. Existing concepts and prototypes are reviewed before production assumptions are made.

Connect the systems

Development can include movement, interactions, puzzles, progression, menus, saving, and content as specifically scoped. Art, animation, audio, and writing may be supplied or commissioned, with rights and responsibilities recorded. A feature list should explain behavior and acceptance tasks.

Test with real players and devices

We review controls, clarity, difficulty, interruption, and performance on the agreed test set. Automated checks and editor play are useful evidence, while physical-device and audience acceptance remain separate. Accessibility options are planned around the actual game.

Prepare a maintainable result

Builds, source, instructions, dependencies, and known issues are delivered as agreed. Store publication, account setup, localization, monetization, and ongoing support are separately defined. No commercial or store-approval outcome is promised.

Tell us the experience you want to complete and what already exists. We can assess the next practical stage.
